Andy Wain is a Principal Scientist in the Electrochemistry Group at NPL and leads the theme of Analytical Electrochemistry, which aims to support industry through cutting-edge tools for characterising electroactive materials and interfaces. Andy received his MChem (2003) and his doctorate (2006) from Oxford University, and then undertook a post-doctoral position at California State University, Los Angeles. He is a chartered chemist, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (FIMMM). Andy has published 70 peer-reviewed papers, 3 book chapters and an edited volume on Nanoscale Electrochemistry.
