John Graves

Dr. John Graves is an Associate Professor of Electrochemistry in the Manufacturing and Materials Research Centre at Coventry University. He has a proven track record in leading interdisciplinary hydrogen production projects, including the EPSRC-funded H-AM project, which focused on electrochemical hydrogen generation from wastewater ammonia. This work led to the EU-funded REWAISE initiative, where he contributed to the development and demonstration of a novel anion exchange membrane electrolysis process for converting ammonia from wastewater into hydrogen. John has also led several Royce industrial collaboration projects on AEM water electrolysis and CU Consultancy projects focused on testing AEM components. With over 10 years of industrial experience, including four years as an R&D manager, he is a longstanding Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Chartered Chemist.
